| Site 1 (Dead) Site 2 |
A good site made by some friends of mine, Nabosoft, which does a lot of computer stuff like HTCP does. Unfortunately their newer site is down, proably for good, but their old site is still up AFAIK. |
| Google! | Google has been called a lot of things. Well I have one more thing to call it: the biggest and best search engine ever. It's the website I use the most, yet spend the least amount of time at. I couldn't live without google. Some people say other search engines, like Yahoo!, are better. I'll just say one thing: Google is the simplest, fastest, most intuitive search engine of all. I don't need Yahoo! directories, personals, news, or anything else (well sometimes I do...) I just need to find that one programming website... and there it is! |
| Wotsit? I dunno. | Actually, it's one of the best sites for programmers: It's got all sorts of info on file formats of every kind - check it out! |
| The Free Country | This site has links to free programming resources. Lots of free compilers and source code for almost every programming language there ever was or is! And I met my Crimson Editor there, too. |
| Programmers Heaven! | And speaking of free sourcecode and compilers for every language, here's Programmers Paradise! |
| Ever wonder what a Sierpinski Gasket/Carpet is? | This cool website is all about Fractals. I discovered an interesting way of creating a Sierpinski Gasket... you can download my program here. |

| Digg | A search engine-like site where sites are ranked by users and can be searched through that way. |
| Technorati | Search Engine that does searches on blogs, especially useful for finding articles and links about certain topics. |
| del.icio.us | Program and site used to help sort and rank links to various sites. |
| Pixsy | Searches mainly for images and videos from all kinds of news feed sites from Google News to YouTube. |

| Bonafide OS Development | I probably spend at least half of my time here! |
| Mega-tokyo's OS development FAQ | I spend a lot of time here, too! |
| Cottontail hardware programming library | Some great documents about everything from USB to VGA to Parallel Port programming... |
| OS Development for Beginners | Lots of links, docs, etc. Early on, when I first decided to write my own operating system, I spent a lot of time here. |
| The Operating System resource center | Lots of docs about different aspects of OS development, including (but not only) low-level hardware programming. |
| BRiX Library | Same as above, but lots more docs. |
| Adam Chapweske's guide to mouse programming | He also has a keyboard programming guide too, but good no-BIOS PS/2 mouse docs are hard to find, whereas there are lots of keyboard docs. This explains mouse interface programming without INT 33h or BIOS. |
| MenuetOS | Imagine a whole OS that fits on a floppy! It's got a ways to go before the average person could use it, but it's pretty cool. Written entirely in Assembly language! |
| OS Development (VisOpSys) | Lotsa links and not much else, but the links are very good. |
| Al's OS | Lots of docs about low-level hardware programming. I spent quite a bit of time here as well. |
| Alex's docs | This page takes forever to load, but it's definitely worth it! (The server is probably on dial-up or something. I am going to try to mirror the docs here someday, if I have time. It takes forever to download a 1M doc!) |
| Beyond Logic | Lots of docs about USB, Serial, Parallel, Keyboard, and other things that connect to your PC using little cables... very nice site. |

| Ebaumsworld | Hilarious! Jokes, games, videos, pictures, more! New content every week! |
| Ebolaworld | (has absolutely nothing to do with ebaumsworld) Lots of Political-related humor. Makes fun of Bush and everything he stands for- but also makes fun of Kerry too. |
| YouTube | One of the greatest sites of all time, which is basically full of user-submitted and user-monitored video content. |
| Myspace | Myspace: Need I say more? |
| ThinkGeek | T-shirts, clocks, watches, coffee cups (what's a geek without one?) and more- Think Geek! |

| QB4All.COM | One of my favorite QuickBASIC sites when I first discovered it. But it hasn't been updated for a couple of years now. Still, it has some good downloads, including KMax 5.0, made by our friends at Nabosoft. If you download that, download HTCThemes for KMax 5.0, too! |
| QBasic.com | Another great QBasic place, lots of downloads, very smooth look. |
| The QBasic Station | A very well written website, although it would be better if it wasn't hosted by Geocities! |
| The Code Teacher! | A great place for Programmers, full of Tutorials, though none cover QBasic (Turbo Pascal, C, C++, and possibly others-haven't been there in a while, so I don't even know if the site is still up anymore! |
| Pascal Central | This is The Pascal version of QB4All or QBasic.Com or The QBasic Station. |
| Q-Tech | An interesting QBasic website, the main thing is the Forum, not much else that I could tell. |
| QBasic.TK | Another Mostly-Forum QBasic website, but it does have a lot more too. The Forum is just the high light, that's all. A great site. |
| Neozones | A VERY Famous QBasic Place... |
