September 14, 2006: Crikey Might!

Crikey Might, Steve died! Now I'll have to find another role model... :-(

BTW Please go to digitalteenzz.freeforumhost.com if you are a young programmer. I'm trying to start a young programmers community but we'll need lots of people! Note that digital artists, etc. are also welcome, we will have boards for all kinds of interesting stuff. Please come, join, post some messages, tell your friends, help us get this community started!

Well, I've added a few downloads, a number of links, some more pictures to my personal page (and Spud added some to his), and I created a Members-Only area. And due to ingenious Javascript techniques, YOU CAN'T GET IN (unless you know the password, of course). Yet another incentive to join HTCP, if only so you can find out what's behind that login page... BTW there's a link to it on the members page, so when this update goes out of sight on the archive page you can still get to it MEMBERS (not you, readers!)

And how do you like our new logo (posted here once again for all the fans out there)?

I'd like to hear some feedback... e-mail me TheMysteriousStrangerFromMars AT yahoo DOT com. Thanks!

September 1, 2006: Long time, long story

Well, I'd say I haven't updated in a while. Am I right? Or am I right?
Well, I will only say one thing because I'm too lazy to tell you the long, sad, boring story of why I'm in Montana and have
not updated for a long long time.
Let's just say some plans went awry and we ended up in Montana. Although it does beat
the alternative: my parents were thinking of moving to Kenya!

So, umm. Montana. Population 20 (OK, 3,200-but close enough). Crime rate: 0%. Nearest city: A million years.
Grocery stores: 2. Got it yet? BORING. Hey, at least I still have a site to keep up and all. And there's
a library with internet, and all kinds of other stuff. And I got those programming projects to work on, like writing,
an OS, or my new one which will wait until I have a team of people and internet at home: writing an MMORPG. Yay.

OK, as far as updates, I've changed the about page, added the OTHER option to the contact page's subject list, changed the alt text of this guy :-D and added this update text. I haven't started yet but I'm gonna try to get more publicity for this site: submit to search engines, post in forums, tell my friends, and ask you guys to tell your friends. Oh, yeah. If you guys could tell your friends about this site that would help. Right now it's pretty small but it's growing, right? As for major updates... updated the projects page, added the page about People's Web (more about that below), added some more of my amazing artwork that you all love (and also some of spud's amazing artwork that everyone loves even more), and also updated the links page and the downloads page. So I'm BI-ZZAAYY. And that's about it. But don't worry, there's more coming up! (Oh, and good luck finding the secret page any more. This time it really is secret- and hard to find! It could be anywhere!) (Oh, and how d'you like the new logo on the index page?)

Meanwhile I have "created" something I call People's Web. The idea involves blogging, using alternate search engines,
and posting your favorite links for all to click on. Basically turns an internet search into a more social and humanized
affair, rather than appealing to some bot for help (though those are still part of it of course). I like the idea because
some topics on Google are very easy to find, but some just come up with a bunch of useless junk. But when you use this new
system, you are clicking on links already approved by other humans looking for the same things as you. So usually. none
of it is junk. And of course, it is better to give than receive, so not only will I be taking other peoples links, I will
also be posting some of my own. You can read all about it here: People Web.

Well, that's all for now. I will try to post updates more often. And I will be able to work next year, so I might be able to buy
a new computer for myself. Woopee! Oh, and I'm going to try to get more publicity for this site. So yeah.

January 17, 2006: It's only been a week since the last update, right?

Well, uh, heh heh, umm, I kinda... was too busy to update. But I really am going to try to update more often. Seriously.
In other news, I've created an archive for old updates. I don't like the sites that have updates all the way from three years ago.
I mean, it takes forever to load and it's really annoying. And it's not like I'm going to respect their page more since their page
is three years old... especially when it takes an hour to load. Anyways, there's a link to the archive at the bottom of this
page... or you can click here if you want to see it now.

I've also added some stuff to my personal page, and spud added some stuff to his. You should see them. Remember, go to
the Members page and click on the profile pic to see the personal page. It's good. I think you will enjoy my sword pics, and
he has also added some good stuff. Lately he's just been doing some fairly random stuff... but wait 'til you see his concorde model... NICE.

That's basically it for now. I'm planning to do some more work on JOS1, and eventually there will be a page completely
dedicated to JOS1 development. Meanwhile I'm doing 3d modelling and some random programming projects. Stay tuned for
more!
